All things good and beautiful
A collation of stuff worth waiting for ..
1. Home-made Swedish meatballs, done by Yx last weekend for Wednesday's party. Made according to Ikea's own recipe with a splash of carbonara sauce! Gotta bug her to type the recipe down in the food blog, which hasn't been updated for AGES.
2. Stuffed vines - you could buy just the grape leaves like we did and make them from scratch, or buy tinned stuffed vines which have no meat in them, just vegetarian.

4. Cafe del Mar on Sunday. Quite a cosy little gathering!
5. I like this part of the luge. Not the skyride, no no and no. Shit. Was an utter embarrassment.
6. Frog porridge on Sunday morning!
7. And so I spent the weekend on Tahiti. Yeah right. This is Sentosa. Not bad, huh?
8. The naughty boy at Cafe del Mar on Saturday. He planted himself in this crevice to ambush and attack the poor waiter, after which he was promptly chauffeured straight home.
And once again, all good things must come to an end. Had a pretty fruitful and well-spent break, I guess, although much of it isn't utilitarian - for example, I've still put off seeing the dentist and servicing the car. Heck, had plenty of alcohol anyway. =p Yanxian did up a really funky version of lychee mojito which was really good (forgot to take pics!!), had really cheap drinks at del Mar (wink wink!), plenty of pina colada in my room, and of course, the 1L of beer that I downed at the beach today. And now, to look forward to future holidays. Start planning, have envelopes of itineraries that can be slit open and acted on whenever the time comes, haha.
Been cranky the last few weeks. Really cranky. I'm terribly sorry. It's been hard, for you and for me.
