Yay! Haha .. end of the bulk of the orientation, the test today was not as gross as I thought it would be. They had to pass all of us anyway.

Well, just one things I really need to get down to doing - been procrastinating for so long! Shall try to hatch the second generation of Triops. Perhaps, it'll be a good reminder of some normality in life.

Woke up this morning with an intense pain in the right eye, it started since last night. Extremely alarmed. I tried to invert my own eyelids to check for foreign bodies, but failed. Why is it that I can do it for other people but not on myself? The eye started turning extremely red and watery, and refused to open up fully. In a moment of desperation, I filled up a giant syringe with saline and squirted jet after jet into the eye, and under the upper lid (that's where the pain is the most intense). I kinda gave up after a while, and now it's miraculously getting much better.

Got back into the room to get some fluorescein strips to check for corneal abrasion, but HECK. I used it up on Brownie!! Seriously worried now, I'll probably cover with some chloramphenicol and steroids in the meantime. =( Nasty thing to happen on a weekend.
