Great, just remembered today that I missed out on doing something REALLY important! Shit, shit, shit. Nothing can be done about that now, although YX who worked in HR before reassured me that this apparently happens all the time. Shall have to wait out the weekend then. Going off to Holland V tonight for food! Gosh, big-time splurging this month.

Also shopping around for insurance policies. Definitely need some HIV cover, although I'm obsessively particular about needle safety - but still. You never know when it'll happen. These horrid things are not cheap though, and I'm looking at easily $100+ a month if I'm getting everything thrown in together. Plus there's this general mistrust of anything that sounds too good to be true.

Some slight apprehension about what's to come. Seriously. The true period of having no life is about to start.
